So let's look at how you can use a Field. Basically it holds 5 of your land plots, and gives some extra bonus depending on its current level. A Level 1 Field will gives you 1 bonus crop, while a Level 2 Field gives 2 bonus crop. You'll get more bonus as you upgrade a Field to its higher levels.
Although a Field is upgradeable up to its final level which is Level 5, you might not be able to do this since you'll need to reach certain Levels before this option can be unlocked.
Farming with a Field is much easier and faster. All it needs is just 1 click per action for all 5 plots inside it; 1 click for seeding, 1 click for watering, 1 click for fertilizing, and 1 click for harvesting. Compared to manually do all that for 5 plots, you save a lot of clicks & time.
